Pressing Issues

The City of Philadelphia needs to make sure that more of its residents have opportunities for sustainable family wage earning jobs, as well as more opportunities to success in business. If elected, I will work to identify solutions to these long-standing challenges, including additional investments in workforce development, training, and ensuring that local businesses get their fair share of contract opportunities with the City and its departments.
01
EMPLOYMENT & BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
The School District of Philadelphia relies on City Council for its funding and my office will work with constituents to ensure that concerns of parents and community activists are being addressed in a timely fashion. As a father myself, I recognize the importance of education and the challenges that parents face when dealing with the school district.
02
EDUCATION
There is an unprecedented amount of gun violence in the City of Philadelphia. There needs to be more resources allocated to supporting police investigations, prosecutions, and victims. This is an issue that is affecting all Philadelphians and requires a new perspective on finding solutions.
03
GUN VIOLENCE
Our City faces many challenges with problems related to trash pickup, street repair, potholes, noise related issues, and similar quality of life complaints. If elected, my office will work closely with constituents to ensure that problems are addressed in a timely manner. We will also work to identify solutions to persistent problems getting the level of service residents deserve.
